Marianna Neururer

My interest in the Alexander Technique began, when due to recurring severe back pain, I was looking for a way to help myself get better, and to prevent further episodes.  In Alexander Technique, I found a wonderful tool to do this with. I liked it so much, that I embarked on a three years’ training course, partly to ensure my own continued well-being, but also to pass this technique on to others.

Since qualifying in 1996, I have enjoyed working on a one to one basis with a variety of people of all ages and from all walks of life. I have also led introductory 6 weeks’ courses in Adult Education, one day seminars for Local Councils, and occasional introductory demonstration and lectures for interested groups.
I am a member of the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique [STAT]

For the last six years I have also been practising Chi Kung with various teachers, and with growing enthusiasm.  To make a commitment to myself to its study in more serious depth, I am currently training with the College of Elemental Chi Kung.

I find that these two disciplines complement and enrich each other and have in fact several aspects in common.
