Who can benefit?

The Alexander Technique can add a new dimension of awareness, well being and creativity to most people's lifes. Because it is concerned with the quality of movement the Technique can benefit anybody with the interest to pursue it.
People come to the Technique for help with a wide range of problems such as chronic back pain, neck and shoulder tension, recurring headaches, R.S.I., fatigue etc. Others would simply like to stand, sit or walk more comfortably and be free from strain. The Technique is also widely used in various fields such as music, acting and sports, to enhance skills and prevent injury. Alexander's view was that the Technique leads to <an improvement of general functioning>. It can certainly contribute to a greater sense of well being and enjoyment of life.
